The Foundation for Evangelism

The Foundation for Evangelism is a co-founder and partner with the Institute for the Timothy Circle.  The Foundation’s mission is to promote, encourage and provide resources for responsible evangelism, enabling The United Methodist Church to bring persons into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Wesley Theological Seminary

The Institute partners with Wesley Seminary on the Wesley Lay Academy, which gives laypeople around the world access to top-tier theologians and the ability to earn a certification in Wesleyan Studies through online classes.  The Institute also partners with Wesley to provide youth ministry training through Southwestern’s Master’s in Specialized Ministry.

Forum for Theological Exploration & the Lilly Endowment

The Institute is proud to be a recipient of a High School Youth Theology Institute (HSYTI) grant from the Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE) and the Lilly Endowment. This grant was awarded to fund the Institute’s Summit Youth Academy, which is an annual camp for high school juniors and seniors exploring Wesleyan theology, a modern view of ‘mission’, and call discernment.

Young Clergy Initiative

The Young Clergy Initiative (YCI) awarded the Institute a grant to fund the Timothy Circle project.  YCI is administered by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) of the United Methodist Church.
