What Is the Institute
for Discipleship?
The
Institute for Discipleship is a ministry extension of Southwestern
College in Winfield, Kansas. It was established to
accomplish these aims:
(1)
to provide funding for Southwestern students exploring
ministry and
(2) to provide highly-focused online learning workshop experiences for persons
in ministry, from volunteers to full-time staff.
The
Institute makes use of internet technology that gathers
people
into online communities. The internet, along with highly interactive
software and well-designed programs, allows the Institute
to
have a world-wide reach.
